Mandy Favaloro

Mandy Favaloro has exclusively represented students with disabilities for her entire legal career.  Ms. Favaloro graduated magna cum laude from the University of Redlands with a B.A. in Political Science, and graduated Pepperdine University with a Juris Doctor degree.  She is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice law in the California Supreme Court, the Central District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

 In 2005 Ms. Favaloro joined A2Z as first a law clerk and then, after passing the bar, as an attorney. Over the course of the last 18 years she has risen through the ranks to become a Senior Associate, managing all aspects of her clients’ cases from IEPs to Due Process hearings.Ms. Favaloro has advocated for parents of students with disabilities at all stages of the special education process including IEP meetings, mediations, due process hearings and in federal court.

 

 

 

Ms. Favaloro is an active member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (“COPAA”), the oldest and largest network of parents, attorneys and advocates working to protect the civil rights of students with disabilities. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors as the Immediate Past Chair and has previously served as Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair. Ms. Favaloro lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their rescue dog Daisy.
